“Riad Seif’s legacy is a cornerstone of Syrian human rights. In this identity, I wanted to capture the essence of the man and his mission through two parallel paths.
First, I reimagined the calligraphy of his name, ‘Seif’. By stripping the Arabic letters of their dots and smoothing them into two continuous waves, I transformed the ‘sword’ from a static weapon into a symbol of momentum the unstoppable wave of change he has championed for decades.
Alongside this, I distilled his features into a minimalist, iconic portrait. This blend of fluid typography and human silhouette creates a visual tribute that isn’t just a logo, but a story of a life dedicated to dignity.”
